Good News from K-Startup: Netmera is Shortlisted Among the Best Startups Worldwide!

As Netmera, we always aim to provide innovative solutions world-wide and constantly improving our product to offer our customers the best service they deserve.

In accordance with the purpose of providing a global service, Netmera applied for K-Startup Grand Challenge 2017 held in Korea. The application process was already exciting but it became more thrilling for us when Netmera was shortlisted among the best startups from Europe to United States. Let us explain what all this means and make you be a part of our pride and joy.

First things first: What is K-Startup Challenge 2017?

K-Startup Grand Challenge 2017 (http://www.k-startupgc.org/) is a startup competition sponsored by Korean government to attract innovative global startups to Korea which has started to be arranged last year for the first time. Even though it was the first year, a significant amount of applications has been arrived (2,439 firms from 124 countries) in 2016.

In order to sustain South Korea’s leadership in technology and innovation, Korean government is supporting talented entrepreneurs and promising startups to turn Korea and Pangyo Creative Economy valley into a Global startup Hub in Asia.

More than 3000 startups applied to K-Startup Challenge 2017 from all around the world and we are proud to announce that Netmera is shortlisted among these 3000 startups. Shortlisted startups pitched their companies in demo days organised in several cities across Europe. Netmera pitched in London demo day on 7th of July in front of an audience consisting of select Korean and European investors, accelerators and talented entrepreneurs.

The winner of this challenge will be able to get sponsorship from rooted brands in Korea such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai Motors, KT to name a few.; free office and startup space will be provided to the selected teams at the Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley, preliminary price will be given to the selected 50 teams and many more offerings including subsidies, help desks and visas and last but not least accelerating program which will be last for 4 months.
